Hard night of partying? Up all night studying? Stress over the kids leaving your skin in disarray? Whatever your situation may be, I have the answer for you- Lush's Brazened honey face mask. While I do love me some Lush, this is my first foray into facial skincare. This mask is so fresh it needs to be stored in the refrigerator and expires in 3 weeks. There are no harsh chemicals or preservatives, just natural yummy goodness. Your skin will eat it up!
The Brazened Honey face mask is composed of fresh organic lime juice, sage, rosemary, juniperberry, free range eggs, ginger root, parsley, and fennel. Seven ayurvedic herbs and spices are used for their cleansing properties. Ground almonds help to exfoliate skin leaving it revitalized and vibrant. Moisturizing honey leaves it soft and smooth. In addition, kaolin gets rid of excess oil, and chlorophyll helps heal irritated skin. This killer combo is the epitome of detoxification. When you first put the mask on, it feels cold, creamy and luxurious. It smells divine. The ginger and honey are most pronounced and it is very refreshing in texture and scent. After one application my skin is completely exfoliated, and left feeling silky smooth and G-L-O-W-I-N-G.
This mask is such a natural miracle worker that I have no problem with the 3 week expiration date. I can't wait to use this again and again. One tub contains 4-6 applications, or 2.1 oz, enough for twice weekly use and costs $5.95. If your skin is seeking some detoxification then run, don't walk, to a Lush near you as it is only available in stores!
