Burberry Fall 2012: Sheer Eyeshadow in Mulberry

Blog readers are you tired of hearing how amazing Burberry is yet?  Just look at that color!  Burberry's latest release for Fall is the Sheer Eyeshadow in Mulberry.  When I look at it, I see a mix of purple and brown.  Satin finish, no obvious shimmer, smooth as silk.  Previous to seeing it in person I looked at swatches online and was expecting it to be more red.  In direct sunlight a bit of red creeps in, but not much to my eye.

This is the perfect shade for fall,  and I see myself wearing this all over the lid every single day.  I think this will make a beautiful dark, slightly smokey eye that is suitable for day time.  Love, love, love!  Why do girls liken their love for cosmetics to their love for men?

This one is a must have.  Most shadows I own are either purple or brown but not the sweetest combination of both.  I don't think I will ever get tired of this one!  Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow retails for $29 and is available at Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue.

  2. Ack!! I feel the same as bronzerbunny...looks like it might pull a little too red on me too (as with a few of the Burberry shadows look), but it is so dang pretty in the pictures!!! But I'm determined to find something out of the Burberry Beauty line I'll love :-)

  3. Any possibility of seeing this shadow on your eye? I want to see how the color translates. I'm trying to resist the siren call of Nordstrom.com
