More Tom Ford Goodies (A Guilty Post)
A week ago on Twitter I spoke about a small Tom Ford haul I did and here are the rest of the items I purchased during said binge! I really hate to say how much I love the Tom Ford line, and that does not mean that I think his items necessarily justify the price tag. However hesitant I was at first, I really do love his edited collection and feel that there are some really interesting gems!
I think that one of the most interesting items in the collection is the Shade and Illuminate Cream Contour and Highlighter duo, which I purchased in Intensity 1. I have had my eye on this item for a while now, and finally took the plunge! I also purchased the Shade and llluminate brush (Number 4) and the Cream Foundation Brush (Number 2). The brushes are absolutely gorgeous and so soft! I also picked up another lip gloss in Pink Guilt because the color is such a natural, but sparkly shade despite how it looks in the tube. The Tom Ford lip glosses are sticky, but I don't mind because they do last longer on the lips. The last item I purchased was the Illuminating Concealer Pen in Amber Eclat. I am nearly finished with my YSL Touch Eclat and so I felt this was something new to try.
The last item on my Tom Ford wish list is the Eyebrow Pencil but that will have to wait for the new year...what lofty goals I create for myself.

Ooh everything you picked up looks so lovely. I really want their Shade & Illuminate xx
ReplyDeleteThose brushes look divine and the highlighter / contour highlighter duo is intriguing. I've yet to dip a toe in this line but I think my first purchase will be one of the blushes or lipsticks and now possibly a brush!

You will love his brow crayon! It is my favorite. Looks like a great haul. I can't wait to hear more about the illuminator.
ReplyDeleteI have been dying for the shade and illuminate, I've seen it used in so many videos recently and it looks incredible. But we don't get Tom Ford beauty products here in India yet! :(
ReplyDeletelove that shade of gloss! :)
ReplyDeleteHi could you tell me what shade in tom ford foundation do you used, please T^T
ReplyDeleteI use Number 8 Caramel in both the liquid and stick foundation. I have the translucent powder in 02 Ivory Fawn.
DeleteHey Nisha! This is Lakshmi, I've been a long time reader but first time commenter! Hi! :)
ReplyDeleteSo I have recently been bitten by the Tom Ford bug: especially for the brushes! Swoon! I was not very impressed with the eyeshadow quads so far so restrained myself but during BG's recent gift card event I succumbed to the lure of the cream foundation brush and the Shade and Illuminate in Intensity 2. That really is a great product, almost impossible to overdo. I am yet to really test its longevity on my skin but I think I really like it, I've been using the Real Techniques contour brush to apply it and think it's a great one to use for this product (plus I'm still petting the cream fdn brush haven't used it yet ;) Such a soft brush, no?)
I think we have similar skintones (I'm a MAC NC 42-43) so I always enjoy reading what you have to say about the products we all love.
Btw have you tried the bronzers from TF? I think I want the blush brush and/or bronzer brush from TF next... *sigh*
Thank you so much for your comment! I love the cream foundation brush I have been using it nonstop! It really applies foundation flawlessly. I washed it and it maintained its shape and is still is as soft as ever! I haven't tried the bronzers yet but I really want to! The compact itself is pure luxury! I have about 10 bronzers though so it'll be a a while! Try the blushes out- they are truly one of the stand out products in the line. There are so many shades which would look gorgeous on our skin tone.
DeleteI love your TF posts! I got into this line just recently and have visited the local counter 3 times in a little over a month. And the next trip has already secured a spot in my calendar. I try to put it off until January. An incredible line and very dangerous since it's so pricey. xx
